Or play an amazing game of golf on the Cape Kidnappers Golf Course. The Art Trail; with an abundance of very talented artists is this region you are bound to find a treasure to take home with you. The Food Trail; visiting the many talented and imaginative food artisans in the area. The Wine Trail, self-drive or take a tour to access the numerous world class vineyards to taste/buy and explore. Sightseeing; you will be enthralled at our striking landscapes, earthquake thrusts of many years ago, the shells on top of Te Mata Peak are proof that previously this land had been under the sea. The Honey House; Arataki is the largest bee keeping enterprise in the southern hemisphere; they have a wonderful facility for tasting, learning about the bees and the many products that are available using honey. Another sweet delight is Silky Oaks Chocolate Factory;  Hiking/Biking; the challenging trails on the famed Te Mata Peak landscape will enthral you with the breath-taking view from the top - Hanglide off for a thrill of a lifetime - Watch the sunset or sunrise for a memory that will last for ever. Architecture; be captivated by the Art Deco and Spanish Mission buildings that replaced the devastation of the 1931 earthquake in both Hastings and Napier, a 5 and 20 minutes drive. Beaches, a 20 minute scenic drive to one of the many natural unspoilt beaches in the area. Shopping; our village shops include exquisite boutique shopping - gifts, clothes, artisan foods, books, restaurants, cinema etc. all within a 10 minute walk or  1 minute drive. Come and be pampered.
