You will be welcomed into our interesting architectural home with complimentary refreshment on your arrival. We offer wonderful out-door living which you may use at your leisure. This includes our beautiful courtyard and the west view deck overlooking the Heretaunga plains to the ranges. B & B at its best.

Join us in the living room or on the deck prior to going for dinner for a glass of local wine and nibbles between 4.00pm - 5.30pm. Non-alcoholic drinks available.

We are nestled in the foothills of the famed Te Mata Peak in the picturesque village of Havelock North – heart of wine country - Hawke’s Bay, where we have 'everything under the sun.' Close to Napier, Your quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation is in our purpose-built guest wing. Each room is decorated with flair and colour with beautiful views and afternoon sun. The rooms and access feature New Zealand original art; it is often commented that our home is like a small Art Gallery with art works and art objects in every corner.

We love to meet people, have travelled extensively and will enjoy cooking you a sumptuous breakfast – dietary requirements are catered for; we also offer dinner by arrangement in a romantic setting. We would be delighted to join you or if you wish to may dine alone.

Since retiring from his Banking career, John has become a full-time artist and has an art studio that you are welcome to visit. He paints in acrylics and water-colours, his subjects include New Zealand landscapes, historic architecture and New Zealand way of life. Prints and cards are also available.

You are welcome to explore our garden that has been a challenge to develop; however we are very pleased with it now and the way it has developed winning a Landscaped Garden competition. We have many producing trees like mandarin, lime, lemon, ugli fruit, olives, fig, hazelnuts, feijoa. as well as many natives and other interesting plants.

We are just a 2 minute drive to our village of Havelock North where there is great boutique shopping and an excellent choice of restaurants. An 8 minute drive will take you into Hastings where there are stunning examples of Spanish Mission and Art Deco architecture – a city of around 50,000. Napier, the Art Deco capitol of the world is a 20 minute drive. Beaches are a 20 minute drive and we are very close to some of our world class Hawke’s Bay vineyards.

Cancellations received inside 1 week of booking date 50% charge made unless booking is replaced. Cancellations made within 24hrs 100% charge will be made unless booking is replaced.
