The LOFT art studio and premium Bed & Breakfast Homestay is in a prime position from which to plan and enjoy your activities while in Hawke's Bay. We provide a luxury purpose-built guest wing on one side of our Tuscan-inspired home. Our beautiful 'Tui' (largest) and 'Bellbird' bedrooms are both luxurious and relaxing; well heated in winter and cooled in summer, with attractive foothills views from both bedrooms.
The 'Takahe' guest lounge, designed for your quiet relaxation, opens to our inner courtyard. You are also very welcome to join us for conversation in our open home lounge/dining room, for music or HD TV. Guest use of our large 'Westview' deck which has 2 relaxation areas. There are garden paths and al fresco dining or you can just simply sit and enjoy a drink on the deck while soaking in the wonderful views.
Original oil paintings by your LOFT Hosts Rob and Barbara Clemens adorn our walls - painted mainly by Barbara with some painted by Rob. Please feel free to wander the house to view them.

Hawke's Bay is a wine and food Destination and our little Havelock Village is known as The Heart of Wine Country. A limited wine selection is available for sale here at The LOFT, whether to enjoy while dining or simply while relaxing around our house. If winery visiting is not your interest then there are many other superb attractions for you to enjoy; from the Napier National Aquarium, sightseeing, botanical gardens, art deco buildings, Te Mata Peak hilltop views and walking trails, Hawke's Bay Art Trail, National cycle trails, local produce markets, golf courses, trout fishing rivers, forest walks, a world famous gannet colony not to mention many wonderful restaurants, cafés and bars. Don't be frustrated by staying only 1 or 2 nights - you may need more time to take advantage of the many temptations our stunning region offers.
